Congratulations to Our 2025–2026 District Teacher of the Year

Wolcott Public Schools is proud to announce Ms. Briana Daniele as the 2025–2026 District Teacher of the Year.

Ms. Daniele was selected by the Teacher of the Year Committee for her exceptional connection to students and unwavering dedication to the school community. She currently serves as the STEP teacher and Special Education Department Head at Wolcott High School.

Her colleagues describe her as understanding, empathetic, and committed to meeting the needs of all learners through a multi-sensory approach. Beyond the classroom, Briana is an outstanding volleyball coach and co-advisor of the National Honor Society. She is also actively involved in the broader school culture, participating in numerous after-school events and fostering a positive staff environment as the co-chair of the Sunshine Committee.
